IN 2010, Goznak minted over 8 billion coins at the Moscow and St. Petersburg mints, many designed by the artists from Goznak.

Over 40 new collector and commemorative coins were released for the Central Bank of Russia in 2010. Following up the award-winning 3kg coin released in 2009, in 2010 Goznak designed and struck a 5kg coin to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Russian Central Bank. Only 25 of these coins were produced and just a handful remain

Goznak and the Central Bank of Russia have released the coins for the 2014 Winter Olympics, which will take place in the Russian Black Sea resort town of Sochi.
